Atsuro Chiba

 
Born and raised in Japan, Atsuro discovered Yoga in his mid twenties after moving to San Diego. He practiced a few different of Yoga styles until he found Ashtanga, which touched him deeply. He started studying with Tim Miller in 2005 and he has completed the 2nd series of Ashtanga yoga teacher training with Tim Miller in 2008. His daily practice of Ashtanga at The Ashtanga Yoga Center with Tim Miller continues to change his life in a positive way and he has come to view it as a wonderful science of the mind, body, and spirit.  
     
Holly Gastil

 
Holly's nurturing and light hearted teaching style reflects the flexibility she has gained, both mentally and physically, through the practice of Ashtanga yoga. She began the practice 16 years ago, and felt the call to begin teaching in 2002. Holly's first teacher, Alison Lewis, encouraged her to study with Tim Miller at the Ashtanga Yoga Center, where she continues to be challenged and inspired in her yoga practice on a daily basis.  
     
Marne Green  
Marne embarked on her yoga journey in 2000 to seek physical and spiritual balance while resolving a chronic running injury. In 2004, her yogic endeavor evolved into a full time Ashtanga practice with Tim Miller. She has been teaching since 2006 and has completed Primary and Intermediate teacher trainings with Tim. Marne has had an opportunity to study with many senior practitioners in the Ashtanga lineage. Her studies have resulted in numerous trips to India, 2006, 2008, and 2012, with each trip providing a deeper immersion into yoga's cultural context. In addition to the traditional Ashtanga yoga method, she has completed teacher trainings and workshops with master teachers in Yoga Therapy, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga Sutras & Philosophy, and Pranayama, to name a few. She strives to create a supportive and safe environment for students of all levels. Expect her classes to be instructional, challenging, and fun!  
     
Natasha Teran  
Growing up in South America, Natasha developed and nurtured a passion for fitness, health and well-being at an early age. Her devotion to continual growth and improvement led her to explore personal training and nutrition while at the same time embarking upon a successful career in tap dancing. Upon coming to the United States, she discovered her path to yoga. In 2003, she began studying with Tim Miller, where she teaches now. Natasha incorporates the lessons she learns from her own rigorous daily practice into her classes: her oft-repeated mantra is "Practice, practice, practice!" She also inspires students by incorporating her yoga-inspired philosophy in every aspect of her daily life. Her classes themselves are an invigorating combination of discipline and fun which focus on proper alignment, the building of strength, and individual improvement. Her experience, energy, and enthusiasm inspire her students to grow stronger both physically and mentally.  
     
Susan Taylor  
Susan began her yoga practice in 1995 and tried out many styles of yoga before finding Ashtanga yoga. Finally meeting Tim Miller in 1996, she found a true love for practice. Her studies were mainly with Tim and his student Christina Allen, who she apprenticed with in 1998, and has been teaching ever since. She is certified in many different modalities of movement and body work, however, her passion remains true to Ashtanga yoga. She has found that the key to a long lasting relationship with your practice is a good sense of humor. Because of that, Susan feels that a yoga class should be orchestrated in a fun, energetic, and light-hearted way. She believes yoga should be a celebration of life, a way to express your unique self, and a time to enjoy connecting with mind, body, and spirit.
